Summer Camp opportunity - Illinois State head women's diving coach Phil Hoffmann will be offering three day camps this summer, and all are currently open for enrollment. The three sessions will be offered in July, with the first two open to all skill levels, ages 8-18 and the third to freshman entering high school and older. summer activities for children
The first session for all skill levels runs July 7-9 and the second session July 10-12. The third session, offered for freshmen entering high school and older, is July 14-16. The day camps include daily instruction on the basics of diving in a safe and educational environment, aid divers with previous diving experience to improve their skills and dryland training with diving specific skills and instruction. The campers will also have the opportunity to learn new tricks while having fun.
The cost is $125 per session, $220 for two sessions or $325 for three sessions. A $75 non-refundable deposit is due with registration and the remaining balance is due at camp check-in. Daily instruction, a camp T-shirt, diving video, camp insurance and a pizza party on the final day of camp is covered with the fee. Registration is due by June 25. Any registration postmarked after June 25 will have a $20 late fee.
In the 2007-08 season, Hoffmann had a 1-meter board conference champion and six top-eight finishers at the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Championships. Hoffmann has worked with top junior and senior level divers at the U.S. Elite Diving Academy and Ohio State University and has coached many national champions and 2008 Olympic hopefuls. Hoffmann is a safety certified U.S. diving coach and has extensive water and dryland training experience.

IMEA News! Flutists Jenny Morrow, Sarah Yount and Laura Chatham auditioned at All State and made the top Honor Band. Jenny played piccolo and Sarah & Laura played flute.
